Our Doctor of Audiology, Candace A. Bell, joined the ESENT staff in 2004 when she moved with her family from Louisiana to the Eastern Shore. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1996, and Master of Arts in Audiology in 1998, from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. She then earned her Doctor of Audiology in 2008 from ATSU in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Bell has worked in the ENT setting since 1998.
Her areas of interest are performing complete diagnostic hearing testing on all age groups, evaluation and fitting of hearing aids, industrial screening, patient education concerning hearing loss and hearing protection. She donates time for community screenings, as well as hearing aids for low-income individuals.
Dr. Bell holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology as a member of ASHA and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Audiology. She is licensed by the State of Alabama in Audiology, and participates with the Hear Now program.
