For patients with hearing loss that receive little benefit from hearing aids, we are starting a Cochlear Implant program at Thomas Hospital, the only current implant center in south Alabama. Working alongside specialized audiologists from the University of South Alabama and Cochlear Americas, we have the team that will provide the full spectrum of care, from audiologic and surgical candidacy evaluations, surgery and post-operative mapping.
